The interstitial space shall be monitored with a monitoring system connected to an audible and <br /> visual alarm system. Immediately contact a properly licensed, trained, and certified contractor to replace the failed <br /> component with a functional component(LG 113-x listed, if applicable)under permit, if required, of the EHD within <br /> one business day. <br /> This is a repeat violation, Class II. <br /> 319 CCR 2635, 2637.1, 2665, 2712 No spill bucket, failed to contain 5 gallons, no means to keep it empty, or failed to be <br /> tested. <br /> The 91 product spill container failed when tested. All spill containers shall have a minimum capacity of five gallons <br /> and be capable of containing a spill or overfill until it is detected or cleaned up. The spill container drain valve was <br /> replaced and retested during the inspection. <br /> This was corrected on site. <br /> This is a repeat violation, Class Il. <br /> 320 CCR 2635, 2637.2,2665, 2712 Failure to comply with the installation, inspection, or record keeping of the overfill <br /> prevention. <br /> Owners or operators of underground storage tanks that do not meet California Code of regulations, title 23 division <br /> 3, chapter 16 section 2635(c)(2)shall test overfill prevention equipment once by October 13th, 2018 and every 36 <br /> months thereafter; and within 30 days of the date of a repair. The site conducted the test on 4/11/19, over five <br /> months late. Ensure to conduct overfill prevention equipment inspection within the time frame provided by the <br /> regulation and submit test results within 30 days of performing the inspection. Ensure a 48 hour notification is <br /> provided to EHD prior to conducting the inspection.Test result for the testing performed must be submitted within <br /> 30 day of testing. <br /> This is a Class II violation. <br /> Overall Inspection Comments: <br /> NOTE: Due to unavailability of San Joaquin County Environmental Health department inspectors, an inspector <br /> from the San Joaquin county environmental health department was not present during the entire monitoring <br /> system certification. The inspector was able to witness inside the under dispenser containment, the submersible <br /> turbine pump sumps, and spill containers of the UST system. EHD awaits the monitoring system certification <br /> results to review the functionality and communication of the monitoring system. Ensure the monitoring system <br /> certification is submitted to EHD within 30 days of the testing date. An inspection checklist was provided to the <br /> facility operator on the day of inspection.
