It is my
understanding that the outcome of our meeting yesterday at your office in Stockton is as follows:
1 . Your agency has determined that the submittal of the workplan was unnecessary because we are not
proposing to further delineate the soil contamination at this time.
_'. Our proposal to undertake a series of quarterly samplings at the three groundwater monitoring wells
follows a routine guideline requirement for a groundwater contamination investigation.
3. Our proposal to commit to sampling for eight quarters may not be warranted at this time. San Joaquin
County EHS will be better able to make a duration determination after reviewing the results from upcoming
analytical report submittals. Therefore we are to continue sampling until further notice.
4. You have discussed the site with the Regional Water Board after our meeting at the Tracy site and
determined that RMC Pacific Materials will be better served by following the County's course of action at
this time.
Thank you
O Rob Aldenhuysen
J6 Environmental Supervisor/ RMC Pacific Materials
9 (925) 426-2261
[X<] Raldenhuysen@rmcpacific.com
9/15/2003
