CHAPTER 9-852 <br /> POND EXCAVATION PERMITS <br /> Sections: <br /> 9-852.1 Intent <br /> 9-852.2 Permitted Zones <br /> 9-852.3 Requirements for Application <br /> 9-852.4 Review Procedures <br /> 9-852.5 Findings <br /> 9-852.6 Development Standards <br /> 9-852.7 Time Limit on Approvals <br /> SECTION 9-852.1 INTENT. The intent of this Chapter is to provide a method for allowing the removal of <br /> excess material from property in order to establish ponds for water supply or for recreational purposes, <br /> while protecting people, property, agriculture and the environment from impacts caused by the pond <br /> excavation. <br /> SECTION 9-852.2 PERMITTED ZONES. Applications for Pond Excavation Permits may be accepted in the <br /> AG zone. <br /> SECTION 9-852.3 REQUIREMENTS FOR APPLICATION. An application for a Pond Excavation Permit shall <br /> include the following: <br /> (a) A Certified Grading Plan prepared by a registered civil engineer: <br /> An Operational Statement: <br /> (c) A soils report, prepared by a soil scientist qualified to analyze agricultural soils,; and <br /> A fee as specified by resolution of the Board of Supervisors. <br /> SECTION 9-852.4 REVIEW PROCEDURES. The review procedure for a Pond Excavation Permit Application <br /> shall be the Public Hearing Procedure, as set forth in Chapter 9-220. <br /> SECTION 9-852.5 FINDINGS. Prior to approving an application for a Pond Excavation Permit, the Review <br /> Authority shall find all of the following true: <br /> 852-1 <br />
