All samples will be Iabeled, and
submitted to the analytical laboratory under proper Chain-of-Custody protocol.
4.0 SCHEDULE
ESE will start the above proposed Work Plan within 2 weeks after the plan is approved by
San Joaquin County Health Department and the Regional Board. ESE assumes that it will
take approximately 2 weeks to obtain the required permits and permission to drill. It
may take an additional 2 weeks to obtain approval for work expenditures from AT&T.
Once field work.begins, ESE estimates it will take 1 week to drill, install, and develop the
three monitoring wells and another day to survey and sample the wells. Laboratory
analyses should be completed 2 weeks following ground-water sampling. The preliminary
report should be completed approximately 2 weeks after receipt of laboratory analyses
results.
Assuming a project approval date of September 1, 1990, the approximate project schedule
dates should be:
• September 4: Apply for well permits, perrrussion to drill at
Mainland Nursery
September 10: submit expenditure plan to AT&T
• September 24: mobilize; drill, install and develop wells; submit
soil samples for analyses
_ October 1: sample and survey wells; submit ground-water
samples for analyses
• October 15: prepare report of investigations;submit report for
review by AT&T
• November 5: submit report to San Joaquin County Health
Department.
10
