Prompt reporting is essential to the prevention of <br /> future incidents in addition to the well-being of the affected <br /> individual or individuals. The Site Safety officer will notify the <br /> Project Manager of any serious accidents. The Site Safety Officer <br /> or other key members of the field team will be trained in first aid <br /> and r.PR. First aid will be administered to affected personnel <br /> under the direction of the Site Safety Officer. For serious <br /> accidents, the nearest ambulance service will be contacted for <br /> transport of injured personnel to the nearest medical facility (see <br /> Section 6.0) . The Site safety Officer will have established <br /> contact and liaison with medical authorities (see vection 6.0) <br /> whose personnel will be knowledgeable of the activities of the <br /> field team. Telephone numbers and addresses of ambulance and <br /> medical services will be posted on site. <br /> A formal report of any OSHA-recordable accident will be filed with <br /> ESE.
