One 5 gallon canister containing acetone waste <br /> that had not been distilled was missing a label. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: Per California Health and Safety Code 25143.9, containers holding excluded <br /> recyclable materials(ERM)need to be labeled with the words"Excluded Recyclable Material,"your business name, <br /> address, composition of the ERM, physical state, hazardous properties and the accumulation start date. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately label the container. Provide a corrective action statement and supporting <br /> documentation to the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department(EHD)within 30 days. <br /> This is a minor violation. <br /> Overall Inspection Comments: <br /> Complete and submit a copy of the Return to Compliance Certification form to the EHD with a statement <br /> documenting the corrective actions that have been or will be taken for each violation, and any supporting <br /> paperwork, by November 16, 2019. <br /> Starting September 1, 2018, all in-office CERS help will be provided at EHD hourly rate ($152). To schedule an <br /> appointment, please call (209)468-3420. <br /> Waste streams found: Waste paint, waste acetone, used oil, waste water <br /> The facility treats waste water generated from rinsing metal parts sprayed with Secure Steam FRP. <br /> The facility generated 12.83 tons of hazardous waste in 2018.
