Data Analysis#1
Prior to the construction of a pilot recharge test facility, MWE will analyze the data collected
during the first site characterization stage. This analysis will include the following activities:
• Comparison of grain size analysis and lithologic logs;
• Correlation of borehole falling head test data with grain size analysis data;
• Estimation of the volume of water necessary for the pilot recharge test (based on lithology
data and borehole falling head test results); and
• Evaluation of groundwater and source water quality.
Based on analysis of the above-mentioned data, recommendations will be made regarding the
PRTP location, type, and configuration and a conceptual facility design will be completed. This
analysis will also contain recommendations on how to convey water from the source to the
PRTP.
MWH 2-8 July 2004
