R
Working To Restore Nature
that removal of hydrocarbon impacted soil and groundwater from the vicinity of the former
underground storage tank has effectively removed the residual contaminants from the
subsurface. Furthermore, recent sampling of the stockpiled soil indicates that petroleum
hydrocarbons that were present in the excavated material have subsequently been removed by
passive aeration Based upon the analytical results, stockpiled soil can be used as backfill
RESNA therefore recommends stockpiled soil be used, along with imported fill, to backfill the
excavation. Upon completion of backfilling activities and destruction of the remaining
groundwater monitoring wells (MW2, MW3, MW4) under permit from PHS/EHD, RESNA,
on behalf of McAllister Trust, requests the site be considered for closure
Please call me at (209) 838-3507 if you have any questions or comments.
Respectfully,
RESNA Industries Inc
I
Jo n P Lane
W
• Proec Geologist
Gregory P Stahl
CA Registered Geologist No 5023
cc John Dieckman
CRWQCB
•
1500591SR102794 doc 3
