tea,
Ms. Charlene Wall
February 7, 1994
Page 2
2) Do any of your corporate lessees have water wells near the office complex?
3) Are there any wells located within 1000 feet of your office complex?
If the Port indeed has water wells,Sierra-Pacific hereby requests permission to measure water levels
and sample each of them. On behalf of Unocal Corporation, Sierra-Pacific must have a signed
Right-of-Entry.=agreement from the Port of Stockton__ sample any_— orof the_ well_s._ An unsigned
Right-of-Entry form (and a return envelope) is enclosed for your approval.
4) Would the Port of Stockton be willing to provide Sierra-Pacific with historic water quality
data, pumping schedules, and recent test data if they are available?
5) Would you provide Sierra-Pacific with water level data and chemical test results from the
two-inch Cargill check well which was decommissioned by Beylik Drilling Company on 30
November 1993.
Finally, on behalf of Unocal, Sierra-Pacific has taken steps to obtain monitoring well data from
property owners and lessees at the Port of Stockton;including Cargill Molasses Division, PM AG
Products, and from the trustee of California Farm Supply. Sierra-Pacific hopes to resolve some
long-standing hydrogeologic questions.
The nature and distribution of feed product contamination at 2130 West Washington Street will
be fully understood by 1 April 1994,when the last group of soil test results are received, interpreted
and':reported. In the meantime, your cooperation in gathering important ground water data will
be greatly appreciated. We will keep you posted on future events at the site.
