Also, she stated she had boxed <br /> some items and brought them to storage. <br /> 06/01/11 Charlotte called and stated the heating contractor determined that the heater <br /> needed to be replaced but she did not have the money. She said that there <br /> may be a program available to help her, but she will need to apply for the <br /> assistance. <br /> 06/29/11 A site status check was made with Charlotte. There appeared to have been <br /> some progress as compared to the January 8, 2010 site status check. The <br /> bedrooms and walkways still had an accumulation of items. The back porch <br /> and room next to the kitchen were full of items and the walkway were locked <br /> and blocked. Charlotte stated she would obtain another storage unit for the <br /> rest of the items that needed to be removed. <br /> 09/14/11 Charlotte called and stated she had another storage unit but requested more <br /> time to remove items from the house. <br /> 10/28/11 The notice for the November 16, 2011 BOHA meeting was posted on the <br /> house and mailed certified to the owner. <br /> 11/14/11 Charlotte called and stated that the house was not ready. She stated that <br /> her mother had passed away on August 8, 2011 and she did not know what <br /> to do about her mother's business matters or the house. She was advised to <br /> check into the options and to attend the BOHA meeting. <br /> VI. Environmental Health Department Recommendations <br /> The Environmental Health Department recommends the Board confirm the findings of the <br /> violations for the posted structure and that the owner be given: <br /> a. Sixty (60) days to correct all State Housing Law violations. <br /> tM j4n K/- W ",_4 <br /> If the above time constraint is not met, the Environmental Health Department may proceed <br /> with abatement action without further report to the board as follows: <br /> Institute an appropriate action or proceeding consistent with the case conditions that may <br /> include the vacation, repair, or demolition of all posted structure(s) and appurtenances <br /> thereto, the removal of refuse, debris, solid waste, scrap metal, and hazardous wastes <br /> from the premises, and/or the referral of the case to the San Joaquin County District <br /> Attorney's Office for further enforcement action. <br /> Page 5 of 5 <br />
