The following is an itemized list of hazardous waste violations that have not been <br /> addressed for EL CAMINO TIRES as of June 16, 2020. <br /> Open violations from October 112018 inspection <br /> ❑ This violation was corrected ❑ This violation will be corrected by(date): <br /> ❑ Supporting documents included <br /> Describe actions taken or will be taken to correct violation: <br /> Violation #207 -Failure to properly manage reusable soiled textile materials. <br /> Receipts for the soiled rags for the last three years were not available for review during the inspection. The receipts <br /> for laundred rags are required to be kept for three years. Please provide 2018 records to the EHD. <br /> ❑ This violation was corrected ❑ This violation will be corrected by(date): <br /> ❑ Supporting documents included <br /> Describe actions taken or will be taken to correct violation: <br /> Violation#301 -Facility not maintained to minimize the release of a hazardous waste. <br /> Oily staining and debris was observed throughout the shop. Used oil filters were observed throughout the facility <br /> and on the ground. Metal fines were observed on the ground and on the shelves in the brake area. <br /> Facilities shall be maintained and operated to minimize the possibility of a fire, explosion, or release of hazardous <br /> waste to air, soil, or surface water which could threaten human health or the environment Immediately clean the <br /> wastes and manage them according to Title 22 hazardous waste regulations. Submit a statement and supporting <br /> documentation explaining how this waste was managed. <br /> ❑ This violation was corrected ❑ This violation will be corrected by(date): <br /> ❑ Supporting documents included <br /> Describe actions taken or will be taken to correct violation: <br /> Violation#304 - Failed to maintain adequate aisle space for unobstructed response to emergencies. <br /> Aisle space in the side shop area was blocked. Drums could not be reached without climbing over equipment. In <br /> addition, the fire extinguisher was blocked. <br /> Adequate aisle space shall be maintained to allow the unobstructed movement of personnel, fire protection, spill <br /> control equipment, and decontamination equipment to all areas of facility operation in an emergency.
