• Pb was detected at 200 ppm in the surface (0 to 1 foot) soil
sample at location P4 in the truck parking area. However, this
Pb concentration is well below the TTLC value for Pb of
,J J yy"\'✓ 1000 ppm. Pb concentrations at all other locations in the truck
parking area were consistent with background concentrations.
`.
Therefore, it does not appear that Pb contamination is a concern
vo
in this area.
t • PCP was detected at 33 ppm in the surface (0 to 1 foot) soil
sample at location P11 in the truck parking area. otherwise,
' PCP and TCP concentrations were below 1 ppm at the other three
sample locations. PCP contamination appears limited to the
surface soils around location Pll. However, the vertical extent
' of PCP contamination has not been confirmed.
' • Metal (As; Cr, Cu, Hg) concentrations in the truck parking area
were consistent with background concentrations and are well
' below the TTLC values. Therefore, it does not appear that
metals contamination is a concern in this area.
• No significant levels of oil/grease were detected in the samples
from the lumber storage area. Oil/grease concentrations were
all less than 50 ppm. Therefore, it does not appear that
oil/grease contamination is a concern in this area.
• Pb was detected at approximately 100 ppm in the shallow (1 to
t 2.5 foot) soil samples at locations P6 and P7 in the maintenance
shop ditch and at 190 ppm in the surface (0 to 0.5 foot) soil
sample at location P19 south of Yankee Stadium. However, Pb
concentrations are well below the TTLC value for Pb of 1000
ppm. Therefore, it does not appear that Pb contamination is a
concern in this area.
2611F
