Phase II Additional Site Assessment Work Plan- Maintenance Septic Leach Field, <br /> Former Steam Cleaning Area and Drainage Ditch, and South Burn Pit Fill <br /> American Moulding and Millwork Company <br /> 2801 North West Lane, Stockton, California <br /> 1.0. INTRODUCTION <br /> In accordance with the request of Mr. J. Patrick Hughes of American Moulding and Millwork <br /> Company(AMM)Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc. (AGE)has prepared this work plan to further <br /> assess the active septic tank area northeast of the Maintenance building aad a former steam cleaning <br /> facility near the west drainage ditch identified in the 25 September 2000 Phase H Assessment Report <br /> as having been impacted by unauthorized releases of hazardous materials.i In addition,this work plan <br /> includes procedures to advance soil borings to collect soil and grab ground water samples from fill <br /> and native soil near the south bum pit area to assess the fill thickness arfd for target contaminants. <br /> Figure 1 shows the site locality.Figures 2 and 3 shows structures and proposed boring and sampling <br /> locations on the site. The scope of work includes: <br /> • Preparation of this Work Plan; <br /> • Preparation of a Health and Safety Plan; <br /> • Advance two soil borings to groundwater(approximately 45 to 5 feet bsg),one in the septic <br /> tank area northeast of the Maintenance building, and the other near the west ditch to collect <br /> soil and ground water samples; <br /> • Advance three soil borings to approximately 15 feet bsg between the former steam cleaning <br /> facility and the west ditch to collect soil samples; <br /> • Advance two soil borings in through fill material near the south urn pit to collect soil and <br /> grab ground water samples; <br /> • Collection of shallow subsurface soil samples (0.5 feet bsg) in a former steam cleaning <br /> area; <br /> • Obtaining laboratory analysis of the ground water samples and s lected soil samples; and <br /> • Preparation of a report of findings. <br /> 2.0. BACKGROUND <br /> In 198?, Dames and Moore,Inc. (D&M) completed a Phase I Site Assessment of 2801 North West <br /> Lane, Stockton, California (the subject site). A number of potential environmental concerns were <br /> identified and most were subsequently addressed by Kleinfelder and others. On 20 March 2000, <br /> Property Solutions, Inc.
