Soil samples were collected for analy s of PCP and trichlorophenol(TCP). Both PCP and TCP were below reporting limits( GE, 2002). In 2001,AGE drilled one soil boring(PB-4)in the vicinity of the Penta TE nk area to a depth of 55 feet bgs. One soil sample(from a depth of 10 foot bgs)and one grolmdw ter sample were collected and submitted for laboratory analyses for SVOCs,phenols, and I ormaldehyde. Formaldehyde was detected in the soil sample at a concentration of 3.2 m g.,below the residential PRG of 9,200 mg/kg,while SVOCs and phenols were below -porting limits. None of the requested analytes were detected in the groundwater sample. Data Gaps On the basis of the previous sampling events,there were no data gaps id tified for the Truck Parking Area or Former Penta Tank. Additional sampling performed int the vicinity of the one sample exceeding the PRG for PCP at the Truck Parking Area confirmed hat Site soils were below the appropriate PRGs indicating the vertical and horizontal extent of the a ceedance was confirmed.
