TPHd,
formaldehyde,and dissolved chromium were detected at concentrations of 51, 150,and 95 µg/L,
respectively in the sample. Formaldehyde and dissolved chromium were j ist above their
respective action levels. No other requested compounds were detected above detection limits in the
sample.
South and Central Storm Water Basins
No previous investigations were performed in either the southern or centra storm water basin.
Data Gaps
Data Gaps for the storm water ponds are as follows:
• North Storm Water Basin—Although analytical results for surface m ater samples collected
from the pond were below PRGs,there is no information to indicate st diment samples have
been collected from the pond. Sediment samples should be collected I rom the pond to assess
potential impacts from past runoffs to the pond.
• South and Central Storm Water Basins—No samples have been cc ected from the South
and Central Storm Water Basins to assess whether there has been an ir ipact to the soil and
surface water from storm water runoff or their occasional uses as bum pits.
Field Investigation Approach
Field sampling will be performed at the Storm Water Retention Ponds as llows:
• North Storm Water Basin—Two sediment samples will be collected from the north Storm
Water basins and analyzed for VOCs, SVOCs,phenols, formaldehyde TPHd,TPHmo,and
Draft
KB61125 workplan-ESC MACTEC Engineering and Consulting, Inc. 48
September 28,2005
