3.2 Groundwater Levels <br /> Groundwater was measured to be approximately 28 feet below ground surface on <br /> December 12, 2001 Water levels decreased approximately 5 5 feet between March and <br /> December, 2001 Water levels have increased approximately 22 feet since 1990 (Table <br /> 2) <br /> The direction of groundwater flow in December 2001 was towards the north-northeast, as <br /> illustrated in Figure 3 Variations in the direction of groundwater flow between 1987 and <br /> 2001 are presented in Figure 3 Flow directions appear to have shifted from west in 1987 <br /> to the east in 1995, and are now generally in the direction of north-northeast to northeast <br /> 3.3 Analytical Results <br /> TPH-D groundwater results for samples collected on December 12, 2001 have been <br /> compiled with previous data in Table 3 TPH-D was not reported in samples collected <br /> from all seven wells <br /> Results of analyses for fuel additives and 1,2-dichlorethane are presented in Table 4 <br /> Fuel additives, including MTBE, were not reported in any samples The VOC 1,2- <br /> dichloroethane was reported at three locations at concentrations of 14 ug/L (DMW-2), <br /> 6 9 ug/L (DMW-5), and 38 ug/L (DMW-6), which is consistent previous results <br /> 4.0 CONCLUSIONS <br /> Monitoring was conducted in December 2001 as requested by the PH /E <br /> HD and <br /> RWQCB Monitoring included the analysis of samples for diesel, fuel additives, and <br /> VOCs Analytical results are consistent with historical data, which supports the request <br /> for site closure presented in the Closure Request Report (URS, 2001) <br /> 5 K 1840191AFP14Q01_rpt doc <br />
