A manager stated that a receipt will not be given for every pickup. A copy <br /> of each bill of lading must be kept on site for at least three years. <br /> That manager stated that receipts will be requested and kept for all pickups. <br /> This was corrected on site, <br /> This is a Class 11 violation. <br /> 605 CCR 66262.34(f) Failed to completely label containers or portable tanks of hazardous waste. <br /> In the hazardous waste storage area: <br /> -One black 16 gallon steel drum containing used absorbent was observed without a hazardous waste label. <br /> -One black 16 gallon steel drum labeled"paint"was observed with a hazardous waste label missing the hazardous <br /> property, physical state, name and address of the generator,and the words"hazardous waste." <br /> All hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following information: <br /> -the words"Hazardous Waste" <br /> -name and address of generator <br /> -hazardous properties <br /> -physical state <br /> -composition(contents) <br /> -accumulation start date <br /> Immediately label these containers and ensure that all hazardous waste containers are marked with all the required <br /> information. <br /> This is a repeat violation, Class Il. <br /> 608 CCR 66266.130 Failed to properly manage used oil and fuel filters. <br /> Disposal records for the used oil filters for the last three years were not found on site for the service of the forklifts <br /> by Watts. Per Title 22 California Code of Regulations(CCR)66266.130, oil filters that are not completely drained <br /> need to be managed as hazardous waste. If the oil filters are completely drained, they can be disposed of via <br /> recycling.A bill of lading needs to be left with the facility for drained oil filters. Per 22 CCR 66266.130(c)(5), bills of <br /> lading must indicate generator,transporter, and receiving company names, addresses, telephone numbers,the <br /> quantity and size of used oil filter containers transferred, and the date of transfer.
