You are not being required to
investigate your site as a source to contamination found at the 101 and 102 S. Wilson
Way sites. The sources of the contamination found at those sites have been identified
as the tank systems formerly located at each respective site.
The data presented in the report does not definitely rule out the former tank system at
this site as the source of the contamination found in monitoring well #5. Additional soil
investigation in the presumed area of the former tank system should be proposed and
implemented. As the exact location of the former tank system may be difficult to
determine, this scope of work may require more borings than if the location were known.
However, these borings are necessary to complete this investigation.
Please submit to PHS/EHD an addendum to the original work plan to further investigate
the area of the former tank system at this site.
If you have any questions contact me at (209) 468-3449.
Donna Heran, REHS, Director
Environmental Health Division
Margaret Lagorio, Supervising REHS
Site Mitigation Unit
c: CVRWQCB - Beth Thayer
c: Building Analytics -Jan Schutze
A Division of San Joaquin County Health Care Services
