(USTEC) has prepared this Contamination <br /> Assessment Report for the Coca-Cola Enterprises-West(CCE-W),abandoned distribution facility <br /> located at 1100 Wilson Way, Stockton, California. The assessment was initiated at the request <br /> of Mr. Steven McConnelI, Division Manager of Occupational/Environmental Safety for CCE- <br /> W. The purpose of the investigation was to assess the vertical and lateral exient of petroleum <br /> hydrocarbon contamination found beneath the site during underground storage tank (UST) <br /> removal operations. <br /> i• ' <br /> 2.0 SITE INFORMATION <br /> w, <br /> The following in <br /> information was obtained through interviews with various employees of II CE- <br /> � <br /> '.' W and USTEC°s site observations. ' <br /> 2.1 SITE DESCRIPTION <br /> The site was an abandoned warehouse and distribution facility at the time of 15TEC,s <br /> assessment. The facility was located at 1100 N. Wilson Way, Township 1 North, Range 6 East, <br /> Section 31,San Joaquin County, Stockton, California (Figure 1). The property was bounded by <br /> Wikon Way on the west, Roosevelt Street on the south (Photograph No. 1), and School Street <br /> on the east. A motel and vacant lot were located north of the facility. <br /> t., <br /> 4� <br /> Buildings were present on both sides of an east-west conctete drive with access to Wilson Way <br /> and School Streets. A brick two-story office building was located in the southwest property <br /> corner. An incineration unit and a CO2 production unit was located in the southeast corner of <br /> property, ; <br /> theA covered metal service bay was located along the southern property boundary. � <br /> Covered service bays also lined the north property boundary with the exception of a vacant <br /> Fenced parking-lot_behind-the-service bays-in-the-northeast corner of the property. <br /> a <br />
