The result is <br /> - only as useful as the quality of the sampling effort. while <br /> the majority of the clients of the laboratory assume the <br /> responsibility for developing and implementing a sampling <br /> plan, Sequoia is, never-the-less, capable of a variety of <br /> field sampling procedures. <br /> _. sample Containers and Preservation <br /> Containers are purchased in large lots from various sources <br /> and are equivalent to those listed in the Federal Register, <br /> October 26, 1984 and SW-846 Revision 1 December 1987 (Figures <br /> 5-6) . Bottles are prepared in a designated area, clearly► <br /> marked with the preservative added and a sample description <br /> label, then stored in an orderly fashion. Preparation of <br /> bottles is done by technicians relying on a posted list of <br /> appropriate preservatives and supervision by various managers <br /> on the staff. Bottles for organics analysis are purchased <br /> ` form suppliers who certify the containers to have been <br /> cleaned by protocols prescribe in the various EPA methods for <br /> organics analysis. A list of the containers and the <br /> preservatives used at Sequoia Analytical can be found in <br /> Figure 5 and 6 of this document.
