The toluene, ethylbenzene, and xylene concentrations are below the State ALs and <br />' MCLs <br /> 0 The concentration of TPHD continues to remain nondetectable in downgradient well <br />' MW-6 The concentration of TPHG increased slightly from 120 ppb to 130 ppb <br />' CONCLUSIONS <br /> Based on the results of this quarterly monitoring and previous work performed at the site, <br />' RESNA concludes that the TPHG and TPHD decreased or remained the same, and BTEX <br /> concentrations in groundwater have increased slightly since the last monitoring episode in March <br /> 1993 The majority of gasoline hydrocarbons had been consistently detected in the vicinity <br /> 1 directly downgradient from the former tank pit (in well MW-1) Wells MW-2 and MW-6 <br /> located cross-gradient from the former tank pit excavation have shown a slight increase in <br /> detectable levels of gasoline hydrocarbons This may be due to the continued rise in <br /> groundwater elevations <br />' RECOMMENDATIONS <br /> Based upon the findings and conclusions of this and previous groundwater monitoring episodes, <br />' RESNA recommends continued quarterly monitoring consisting of measuring water levels in <br /> wells MW-1 through MW-6 and collecting samples from wells MW-1, MW-2, and MW-6 <br />' Water samples collected during monitoring should be submitted for laboratory analysis of <br /> TPHG, TPHD, and BTEX using EPA methods 503018015/8020 <br />' SCHEDULE <br />' The next quarterly monitoring episode is scheduled for September 1993 with the quarterly <br /> monitoring report submitted in October 1993 Routine well maintenance and inspection will be <br /> performed as necessary during site visits <br /> 1 <br /> DISTRIBUTION <br /> Copies of this report will be forwarded to the following regulatory agencies involved in this <br /> project <br /> 2QMR1993 PUL <br /> I <br />
