Working To Restore Nature <br /> Project Status Update October 28, 1992 <br /> Coca-Cola Enterprises-West, Stockton, California 5400601 <br /> Additional future phases of the project which have been approved and funded by CCE <br /> include: <br /> o Pre-Construction Services <br /> o Construction of a Soil Remediation System <br /> o Construction Inspection and Management <br /> o Operating Instructions for the Remediation System <br /> o System Startup and Startup Monitoring <br /> o System Startup Report <br /> o Initial Operations, Maintenance, Compliance Monitoring, and Reporting <br /> Preliminary Schedule <br /> The Contract was finalized about the second week of October. RESNA is currently <br /> receiving and reviewing previous work on the site, as it is received from CCE The soil <br /> vapor extraction test (VET) is scheduled for Thursday November 12, and notification of the <br /> test has been given to the San Joaquin Valley Unified Air Pollution Control District <br /> (SJVUAPCD) The Site Safety Plan (RESNA, October 22, 1992) for the initial phases of <br /> the work has been completed. <br /> After the VET is completed, it will take about 2 - 3 weeks to receive laboratory results for <br /> the air samples. The draft Report on the Vapor Extraction Test will be submitted to CCE <br /> for their review and comment about 3 weeks after that After CCE comments have been <br /> incorporated into the report, copies of the report will be distributed to the regulatory <br /> agencies assigned to the project. <br /> After reviewing all previous work and completing the Report on the Vapor Extraction Test, <br /> Addendum No. 1 to the Remedial Action Plan will be prepared. The Addendum will <br /> describe the proposed work and the proposed remediation system, and present a schedule <br /> of work for the project A draft of this report will be sent to CCE for their review and <br /> comment, finalized, and then copies will be distributed to the regulatory agencies <br /> The preparation of engineering Plans and Specifications is expected to take about 5 to 6 <br /> weeks. Permit applications will be prepared concurrently with the engineering design work <br /> The SJVUAPCD Permit to Construct and Permit to Operate is estimated to take the Air <br /> District about 2 to 3 months to approve. City permits are estimated to take the City about <br /> 1 to 2 months to approve. <br />• <br /> 2 <br />
