Madison Site
#10
Location: Paint Booth
Material: 4 each 5 gallon buckets of waste paint
Action: We investigated testing of the cured waste paint so that we may dispose of it in our
regular trash if not toxic. Our testing lab suggested checking with the land fill that
receives our regular trash for testing requirements. We contacted the land fill and they
replied that they do not accept any paint products cured or uncured. Therefore, we will
dispose of this material and any future waste paint at a hazardous waste collection
facility.
We are now using the San Joaquin County facility to dispose of the material. We have
transferred 3 of the 4 buckets of waste paint to the facility as of 14 December 2008.
Please see the attached CESQG data sheet.
2. 345 S.
