This facility's EPA ID number is inactive. A hazardous waste generator shall not treat, store, dispose <br /> of, transport or offer for transportation, hazardous waste without an EPA ID number. Immediately contact <br /> DTSC and reactivate your EPA ID number and submit evidence to the EHD by December 30, 2012. A <br /> form has been provided. <br /> 301. The outside hazardous waste storage area has automotive fluids and contaminated absorbent next <br /> to the parts washer, engines, drums and underneath the truck in the front lot. Spilled oil was left on top of <br /> the used oil drum inside the shop. Facilities shall be maintained and operated to minimize the possibility <br /> of a fire, explosion, or release of hazardous waste to air, soil, or surface water which could threaten <br /> human health or the environment. Immediately clean up the contaminated absorbent and spilled <br /> automotive fluids, and manage according to Title 22 hazardous waste regulations. Submit a statement <br /> and supporting documentation explaining how this waste was managed by December 30, 2012. <br /> 305. The secondary containment spill control equipment for the two 55 gallon drums of used oil have <br /> almost an inch of spilled oil in it. This secondary spill control equipment is about three feet wide, by six <br /> feet long, and about as tall as the two 55 gallon drums in it. The secondary spill control equipment has <br /> approximately five used oil filters laying in the spilled oil. All facility communications or alarm systems, fire <br /> protection equipment, spill control equipment, and decontamination equipment, where required, shall be <br /> tested and maintained as necessary to assure its proper operation in time of emergency. Correct <br /> immediately by removing the li uid and filters make a Title 22 hazardous waste determination and <br /> ALL EHD STAFF TIME ASSOCIATED WITH FAILING TO COMPLY BY THE ABOVE NOTED DATES WILL BE BILLED AT THE CURRENT HOURLY RATE. <br /> THIS FACILITY IS SUBJECT TO REINSPECTION AT ANY TIME AT EHD'S CURRENT HOURLY RATE <br /> Inspector: Received By: i Title: <br /> EHD 22-02 Rev 04/19/12 Page 4 HW INSPECTION REPORT <br />
