Manifests or Bills of lading for the spent lead acid batteries for the last three years were not found <br />on site. A copy of each bill of lading must be kept on site for at least three years. Immediately locate a <br />copy of all disposal records for the spent lead acid batteries for the last three years, maintain them on <br />site, and submit copies to the EHD by 02/06/2014. <br />128. Bills of lading for the recycling of used oil filters for the last three years were not found on site. A <br />copy of each bill of lading must be kept on site for at least three years. Immediately locate a copy of all <br />bills of lading for used oil filters for the last three years, maintain them on site, and submit copies to the <br />EHD by 02/06/2014. <br />611. 55 -gallon drum of used oil filters stored more than one year (December 12, 2012). Facilities that <br />genera up to one ton of used oil filters per year may store the filters up to one year. Immediately recycle <br />these filters under a bill of lading and submit a copy of the bill of lading to the EHD by 02/06/2014 <br />701. One 55 -gallon drum of anti -freeze waste (last pick up/accumulation start dated May 21, 2013), and <br />one 5 -gallon bucket of Non-RCRA solid waste (brake metal particle waste dated July 12, 2012 according <br />to generator) were stored on site over 180 days. Facilities who generate less than 1000 kg of hazardous <br />waste per month and do not exceed 6000 kg of waste stored on site at any time may store waste on site <br />up to 180 days. Immediately contact a licensed hazardous waste hauler to dispose of this waste under <br />manifest and submit a copy of the manifest to the EHD by 02/06/2014. <br />812. No disposal records of universal wastes were kept on site, to which generator stated PG&E <br />recently exchanged all the universal waste lamps for free in June this year but did not leave him a <br />receipt. Facility shall retain a copy of each disposal record of universal waste for at least 3 years on site. <br />Begin retaining copy of disposal records of universal waste per this section. <br />910 & 912 No written procedure or notification to local agency for processing of aerosol cans, which <br />generator stated is done by putting a nail through the cans. A written procedure detailing processing of <br />aerosol cans, and notification to the EHD is required if you process universal waste aerosol cans. <br />Notification to the EHD is also required within 30 days of any change in operation that changes the <br />information you originally provided. All handlers who process universal waste aerosol cans must meet <br />requirements under section 25201.16 including processing requirements which includes capturing and <br />management of the releases (both liquid and volatile), written operating procedure, and employee <br />training.
