Used sand blast media has been accumulating in the shop and on the floor without first making a <br />Title 22 hazardous waste determination. The exhaust filters from the paint booth have been disposed of <br />without first making a Title 22 hazardous waste determination. Any person who generates a waste shall <br />determine if the waste is a hazardous waste. Immediately stop accumulating used sand blast media on <br />the shop floor, make a hazardous waste determination for the used sand blast media, and manage it <br />according the Title 22 hazardous waste regulations. Immediately stop disposing of the paint booth <br />exhaust filters, make a hazardous waste determination for the paint booth exhaust filters, and manage it <br />according the Title 22 hazardous waste regulations. Submit a statement and supporting documentation <br />explaining how this waste was managed by 10-6-11. Minor -Notice to Comply. <br />605. The drum of water based paint waste and drum of solvent based paint waste did not have an <br />accumulation start date. Disposal manifests on site indicate that paint waste was last disposed of on <br />8-31-11. All hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following information: 1. the words <br />"Hazardous Waste" 2. name and address of generator 3, hazardous properties 4. physical state 5. <br />composition (contents) 6. accumulation start date. During the inspection the start date of 8-31-11 was <br />added. Continue to ensure that all hazardous waste containers are marked with all the required <br />information. Class II Repeat Violation. <br />605. A 40 gallon drum of used oil did not have an accumulation start. A 30 gallon drum of used antifreeze <br />was not labeled. Disposal manifests on site indicate that used oil was last disposed of on 6-10-10.
