During an Event <br />• Call 911 <br />• Remain calm <br />• Remember that our number one priority is the safety of Associates and customers <br />• Make sure that the suspects have left the facility <br />• Until Law Enforcement arrives, secure the facility and protect the crime scene <br />• Provide first aid where appropriate <br />• Protect any evidence that may be valuable and direct another Associate to meet the police <br />when they arrive <br />• Contact Management <br />• Write down any information or details about the robbery that you can remember <br />• Do not talk to the media (Refer all questions to SHC Media Relations) <br />DO's: <br />• Give the robber money or anything <br />they request <br />• Warn the robber if other Associates <br />that may walk in unexpectedly <br />• Be a good witness and take charge, once <br />the incident has ended <br />• Remember physical details about the <br />robber such as, height, weight, hair <br />color, clothing wom, shoes, etc. <br />DON'T's: <br />• Do NOT resist <br />• Do NOT challenge the robber <br />• Do NOT insult the robber <br />• Do NOT deny what is happening <br />• Do NOT ask questions <br />• Do not attempt to be a hero <br />After an Event <br />• Call 911, if Law Enforcement has not arrived yet <br />• Always follow instructions issued by Law Enforcement / Emergency Services <br />• Refer to the EAP Procedures/Post Event Section for additional assistance <br />• Provide first aid where appropriate <br />• Do not move seriously injured persons unless they are in immediate danger <br />If you are faced with a situation in which Workplace Violence may erupt, take the following <br />course of action: <br />Before an Event <br />Oki] <br />
