Contact the fire department and the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District for <br />applicable permits. <br />2. The contractor shall be licensed by the Contractors Licensing Board. <br />3. At least one person who holds the International Code Council UST Installer/Retrofitter <br />certification must be onsite when work is performed. <br />4. Double wall FRP shall be tested in accordance with manufacturers recommendations upon <br />installation. <br />5. Any changes shall be submitted to EHD for approval prior to commencing work. All new <br />submittals supercede the previous ones. <br />6. All piping, fittings, sumps, under -dispenser containment and tanks must be certified by an <br />independent testing organization and labeled as required by the organization. (UL, ULC, <br />ANSI, API, ASTM ect... See Title 23 Chapter 16 Table B for complete list) <br />7. All monitoring systems shall be listed on the LG113-16. <br />8. All testing shall be in compliance with manufacturer's instructions, section 2635 and section <br />2636 of California Code of Regulations (CCR) <br />9. Automatic pump shutdown must satisfy CCR 26350. <br />10. All piping must slope to a containment sump with an audible/visual alarm. <br />11. All tank top openings, that are connected to the primary space of the UST must have <br />secondary containment, audible/visual alarm and be vapor tight or terminate at grade. <br />12. Sumps and under dispenser containment must be constructed in a manner to prevent vapors <br />from entering the backfill. <br />13. All secondary containment must be constructed to prevent water intrusion. <br />14. The secondary containment system must be continuously monitored as required under <br />California Health & Safety Code (HSC) 25290.1 <br />15. Overfill prevention shall satisfy CCR 2635(b)(2)(B). <br />16. Submit employee training certification from the manufacture of the tank and piping prior to <br />commencing installation. <br />
