U <br />E <br />L. Close -Off Skirts <br />M. Lift Lug(s) <br />O. Sump/Riser <br />A <br />Made of 100 mil polyethylene, this material covers 3600s of the tank <br />body. It is semi-rigid and provides excellent impact and puncture <br />resistance. <br />U.L. labeled steel underground storage tank which is primer <br />coated. <br />It is used between the steel tank and both the Body Sheet and End <br />Caps. It's designed to create the interstitial space and its high/low <br />profile allows 100% fluid migration. It also serves as an excellent <br />impact cushion. <br />Located at the base of each tank are polyethylene foam cushions <br />which are designed to protect the tank during handling and site <br />storage. They can be easily removed before installation. <br />This polyethylene pipe serves as reinforcement for the monitor' <br />tube and is perforated to allow access for any fluid to rea ' <br />monitoring probe, contained within. <br />Formed of 150 mil polyethylene, they are designed to fit snugly onto <br />each end of the tank. <br />This identification label carries both the Tank Jacket number as <br />well as the steel tank U.L. number. <br />Pre -formed into each End Cap is a 3" diameter tube which is rein- <br />forced with the Perforated Pipe. Mounted at the top of the tube is a <br />11/2" NPT bulkhead fitting to accommodate the monitoring conduit. <br />There are two fittings per tank, one on each end. One fitting can be <br />used for attachment of the monitoring conduit and the other for <br />venting the annular space, if required. <br />This specially designed forged NPT steel fitting seals the Body <br />Sheet or Saddle to the steel tank. <br />This polyethylene molded saddle serves as a base for the <br />Sump/Riser. There are two sizes available: 30" diameter for 46" <br />and 64" diameter tanks and the 36" diameter for 76", 96' and 120" <br />diameter tanks. <br />For fittings located outside of Sump/Risers this unique sealing skirt <br />is clamped by the close -off fitting. It also accommodates the.clo <br />off cap to provide a completely sealed fitting. <br />The lifting lugs are designed to be removable, whereas, they c <br />screw directly in and out of the close -off fitting to eliminate ex- <br />posure to the environment. <br />This polyethylene cap is designed to seal unused and pluged fit- <br />tings. It can also be cut on top to seal around 2" and 4" piping. <br />This optional container is designed to perform as the tank riser, as a <br />collection sump for leaks, and as secondary containment for the <br />submersible pump and the tank fittings. It comes with its own water <br />tight lid. <br />
