CFRV1 :S
CECIL R. SPENCER On behalf of the Southland Corporation we submit the following information as an addendum
Architect to the approved applications to removal and install underground storage tanks and upgrade
Vice President equipment at the above referenced site. The following is updated information:
BRUCE J. GREENFIELD The monitoring system to be installed will be the Tidal EMS 3500 which is
Managing Architect listed in the State Water Resource Control Board's (SWRCB) LG 113-12 and
Associate compatible with Tidel's Interstitial Sensor #301-0635-007 and Sump and
Dispenser Pan Probe #301-0642-001. Please see enclosed copies from the LG
113-12 for these parts.
JAMES E. PRESTEN
Regional Manager
Associate Per our conversation today, we are currently working on the State of California's approval of
the Tidel equipment upgrade where an EPC 485 kit is added to the EMS 2000 at the site. The
equipment addition would make the system an EMS 3500. Please see attached letter from
Tidel dated August 13, 1998 and subsequent fax to Shahla Farahnak of the SWRCB dated
GARY M. S E M L I N G August 18, 1998. We are working closely with the SWRCB to obtain state approval to use the
Managing Architect
Associate upgraded equipment.
If we obtain approval from the SWRCB prior to the monitoring system work at this site, we
will submit an additional addendum to you providing a copy of the state approval to add the
B L Y T H E R .WILSON EPC 485 to the existing EMS 2000 instead of installing a new EMS 3500.
Managing Architect
Associate
BELLE VUE, WA LA HABRA, CA PETALUMA, CA SCOTTSDALE, AZ
