Record the inspection observations on the Daily Visual Monitoring Log (Form APPC- <br /> 765: attached.) <br /> 4. RUPONSE PLAN <br /> OPERATOR MPONSEBIOLITIES <br /> A. LEAK RECORDING AND REPORTING PROCEDURE <br /> Whenever an alarm is activated, station personnel are to immediately: <br /> a. Contact ARCO Maintenance or its designated agent by using the telephone <br /> number previously provided. <br /> b. If any visible indications of petroleum products or vapors are noticed call 911. <br /> C. Make an entry in the Recordable Discharge Log (Form APPC-765-1: <br /> attached) indicating the action taken. <br /> . Complete the Recordable Discharge Log when and as the source of the alarm <br /> is known. <br /> ARCO RESEQNSIBUJITIES <br /> B. METHOD OF REMOVING AN UNAUTHORIZED RELEASE FROM THE <br /> SECONDARY CONTAINMENT <br /> a. Any unauthorized release into the secondary containment system of a product <br /> tank will be removed by pumping. Uncontaminated product may be returned to the tank. <br /> Contaminated product may be returned to the refinery to be recycled or may be disposed of <br /> following procedures in accordance with California Health and Safety Code requirements. In the <br /> event of an emergency, a pumping contractor or truck will be available immediately. In all other <br /> cases, equipment availability will be within 12 hours. <br /> b. Any unauthorized release in the secondary containment system of a used oil <br /> tank will be pumped and disposed of following procedures in accordance with California Health and <br /> Safety Code requirements for used oil disposal. <br /> C. ARCO Maintenance will be will be responsible for authorizing and selecting <br /> contractors for the work to be performed. <br />
