Box 5745, FREMONT, CA 94537 <br />Anyone who has questions about the scope of the work, or who finds <br />discrepancies in, or omissions from, the Contract Documents, is urged to <br />submit a request for interpretation (RFI) to the Architect. <br />Requests for written interpretation received by the Architect thirty-six (36) <br />hours prior to the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids will be <br />responded to. <br />Written addendum will be sent to all interested bidders. <br />Any addenda issued <br />Proposals <br />during the time of bidding shall <br />be a part of <br />the Contract <br />Documents received <br />by the bidder for the preparation <br />of his/her <br />proposal., <br />shall be covered in <br />the proposal and shall be made a <br />part of the <br />ontract: <br />Contract.- <br />Proposals shall be submitted as follows: <br />1. Proposals shall be submitted in a manner that provides the information <br />requested herein and in the contract documents. Incomplete or unclear <br />proposals may be discarded as failure to respond. <br />2. Each proposal must give the full business name and address of the <br />bidder and be signed by an authorized representative, followed by the <br />designation of the person signing. When requested by the Owner, <br />satisfactory evidence of the authority of the signing in behalf of the <br />company shall be furnished. <br />3. Proposals shall include a detailed schedule of construction detailing the <br />major phases required, plus incremental and total durations. <br />4. Proposals must be in writing. Proposals may be submitted by fax which <br />must be followed with a signed hard copy delivered within twenty-four <br />(24) business hours of the bid due date and time. <br />5. Before submitting his/her proposal, each bidder shall carefully examine <br />the Contract Documents; shall visit the site of the Work and inform <br />himself/herself of the conditions and limitations thereby; and shall <br />include in his/her proposal a sum to cover the cost of all items included <br />in the documents as complete systems, including, but not limited to, <br />column handholes as required, column -interior conduits, mounted canopy <br />
