If awarded the Work, Contractor shall enter into a written contract with <br />the Owner for the performance of the Work in accordance with .the <br />Contract Documents. <br />0 ` I . 0 y <br />The owner reserves the right to award the contract to the bidder who, in the <br />owner's sole opinion, offers the most advantageous proposal including time and <br />cost for the purpose intended. <br />The owner shall have the right to accept alternates in any order or <br />combination. <br />The Contract must be signed by the successful bidder within ten (10) days <br />after Notice of Award of Contract, unless extended in writing by the Owner. <br />Failure to execute a Contract acceptable to the Owner within that time shall be <br />cause for annulment of the award. If the successful bidder should so default, <br />then another responsible original bidder may be awarded the Contract. <br />SUBMITTALS <br />The bidder shall, within seven (7) days of notification of selection for the <br />award of the Contract for the Work, submit the following information to the <br />Architect and Owner's representative: <br />1. A designation of the work to be performed by the bidder with his/her <br />own forces, and an updated Construction Schedule including start and <br />end days of the major phases of the work scope, and the entire project. <br />For the purpose of this bid, field work is assumed to begin within 45 <br />days of bid closing. <br />2. The proprietary names and the suppliers of principal items or systems <br />of materials and equipment proposed for the work. <br />3. A list of names of the subcontractors or other persons or entities, <br />complete with address and telephone numbers, proposed for each portion <br />of the work. Subcontracts shall be awarded only to parties satisfactory <br />to the Owner. <br />While the selected bidder will be responsible for the information required to <br />secure the canopy Building Permit(s), stamped drawings of sufficient number <br />(4 sets, minimum) may be forwarded to the Owner's Architect, Walton <br />Engineering, for subsequent submittal to the local jurisdiction. <br />gikLe, AIA <br />Architectural Department Manager <br />
