Phil -rite Protocol for 5 GO Capacity (Volume) Testing for th 000 Series Spill Collector
Possible Cause — was the black debris bucket removed?
• Was all debris removed from the spill collector before performing a liquid capacity
test? The black debris bucket catches most debris obstacles (cigarette butts,
paper, gum, candy wrappers, rocks, etc.) The debris bucket can be removed
and empty without having to place your hand inside the spill bucket to remove
this debris. The debris bucket must be removed before performing a capacity
test.
Possible Cause — Large Outer Spill Bucket Seal
• The large outer spill bucket seal seals the black spill bucket inside the stainless
steel sleeve and prevents any liquid from leaking between the two. If a leak is
suspect in this area remove the black spill bucket from the stainless steel sleeve
using Phil -rite tool (T-7101, Black) and replace the large Buna-N "O" Ring
(85036-N) per the "O" Ring replacement instructions. Re -install the black spill
collector per the spill collector installation instructions.
• Record and Photograph all failed measurements.
6 of 7
