Please note that the service requestor has elected to replace the 87-product
Bravo hub in UDC 7/8 instead of waiting for the manufacture's approval to modify the Bravo hub due to
time constraints. The permit has been approved with the following conditions:
1. Contact the local fire department and the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District for
any applicable permits and requirements.
2. Any changes in information and scope of work must be submitted to EHD for approval prior to
commencing work. All new addenda supersede the previous ones.
3. Contact Elianna Florido at (209) 468-0343 to arrange the following appointments (a 48-hour
notice is required for inspection appointments). Please be aware that inspection for emergency
work must be scheduled within five days of permit approval.
• Primary piping soap test: One hour pneumatic pressure test for the 87-octane piping, at
110% of operating pressure, or 40 psi, whichever is greater.
• Secondary piping soap test: One hour pressure test of the 87-octane piping, per
manufacturer's guidelines. If there are no manufacture's guidelines, test shall be
performed using an applicable method specified in an industry code or engineering
standard.
• Secondary piping test for all product piping in the vicinity of UDC-7/8 (where excavation
took place): One hour pressure test for all piping, per manufacturer's guidelines. If there
are no manufacture's guidelines, test shall be performed using an applicable method
specified in an industry code or engineering standard.
• 24-hour hydrostatic test (or equivalent) on UDC-7/8 sump after concrete has been
poured.
Please be aware that the facility cannot operate the 87-product UST system prior to the
EHD inspection and approval.
4. If concrete will be broken near the tank, a secondary containment test must be performed on
the affected USTs once concrete is poured in accordance with the manufacture's guidelines.
1868 E.
