Also, please provide a
statement from the manufacturer of existing tank top sump
penetration(s) (this pertains to the flex line that will be removed) that
the proposed "plugging" method is approved with their penetration
product. Provide a site map that will correspond to your proposed
scope of work, identifying the line to be abandoned, etc.
3) Although you don't plan to break out concrete, we will be
requiring confirmation sampling below the removed piping, so
please fill out the appropriate permit application pages and explain
how you will collect the necessary soil samples.
4) Please verify that appropriate product line penetrations are
installed inside the "existing above ground raceway". It's is my
understanding that the underground product piping transitions to
above ground inside this vault.
Please don't hesitate to call or email me if you have any questions.
Sincerely,
Elena K. These fuel lines are flexible fuel pipe that is ran through a 4"
corrugated conduit/ raceway that is not going to be removed. We are
going to remove the fuel lines out of the conduit and leave the conduit
underground. Once the fuel lines are removed we will be plugging the
7/6/2015
