0 491
inside the "existing above ground raceway". It's is my understanding that the
underground product piping transitions to above ground inside this vault.
Please don't hesitate to call or email me if you have any questions.
Sincerely,
Elena K. Hazelton Ave.
Stockton, CA 95205-6232
Voice: (209) 953-7699
From: mark crisp Imailto:mark@pc-inc.net]
Sent: Monday, May 18, 2015 12:55 PM
To: Elena K. Manzo [EH]
Subject: Re: 430 W Center Street, Manteca, CA,
Elena, Please see below response to all of your comments.
1. These fuel lines are flexible fuel pipe that is ran through a 4"
corrugated conduit/ raceway that is not going to be removed. We are
going to remove the fuel lines out of the conduit and leave the conduit
underground. Once the fuel lines are removed we will be plugging the
penetrations inside the UST sump with standard schedule 80 pipe and
painting them with a non corrosive material. We will insert the schedule
80 pipe into the sump penetration and tighten the existing clamps to
ensure the water tightness of the sump.
2. 1 see that the drawings show this as "new fuel pipe vault" but it is an
existing above ground raceway that is visually inspected once a month.
We will be re-routing the pipe from the existing indoor daytank that will be
removed to the new weather proof day tank that will be installed. We will
be placing a metal cover over the piping in case of rain.
3. There will not be a "new fuel pipe vault". We will be manufacturing a
metal cover over the piping that will be fabricated in the field. It is above
ground piping and will be visually inspected once a month.
4. 1 will re fill out page 5 of the application. We will not be breaking out
any concrete because these are flex lines and will be removed from the
4" raceway.
5. There will not be an analytical lab because no sampling will be
required as far as I know.
6. We will be hiring an environmental cleaning company that will rinse
and certify clean prior to removing and disposing of any material from the
site.
7. Please see attached screen shot of the ICC certification for the tank
work.
Please call me to discuss these items should you have a problem with
7/6/2015
