Will the outside of this pipe (outside the sump) and inside portion of the pipe
maintain its corrosion protection for the duration (especially during/post routine SB989)?
Alternatively consider using non -corrosive material for this abandonment process.
Please don't hesitate to call me I you have any questions.
Elena K. Also, please provide a statement from the manufacturer
of existing tank top sump penetration(s) (this pertains to the flex line that will
be removed) that the proposed "plugging" method is approved with their
penetration product. Provide a site map that will correspond to your
proposed scope of work, identifying the line to be abandoned, etc.
3) Although you don't plan to break out concrete, we will be requiring
confirmation sampling below the removed piping, so please fill out the
appropriate permit application pages and explain how you will collect the
necessary soil samples.
4) Please verify that appropriate product line penetrations are installed
7/6/2015
