IVUthods not testing the <br />entire sump should only be used if the monitoring system provides fail-safe turbine shu (See SWRCB LG- 160) <br />l With the submersible pump running, place the sensor is product (discriminating awwra should also be placed in Water). The time <br />between placing the sensor in product and the turbine shutting down is the response time. This should be done if the arcondary <br />containmen t testing method used does not test the entire volume of the sump. <br />This information is not needed ifthe entire sump is tested. <br />
