E
DATE: December 14, 1993
TO: Supatra Chowchovech
Robert H. Lee & Assoc.
1137 North Mc Dowell BLvd.
Petaluma, Ca 94954
FROM: PHS-EHD
P.O. Box 2009
Stockton, Ca 95201
11
RE: 25650 N. Highway 99, Acampo
The review of the installation plan for the above mentioned site
has been completed. The following items need to be addressed prior
to final approval.
1. Which overfill prevention method stated in section 2635 (2)
(A) of the Underground Storage Tank Regulations be utilized to
prevent manual override?
2. The distance between the new tank installation and the
existing well system is in conflict with the San Jaquin County
Well Standards, section 3.1. Because the restrictive lot size
will not allow the well distance requirements to be obtained,
a sampling protocol will be required for the well system. The
exact water sampling requirements will be set by PHS-EHD
pending an analysis of the tank removal soil results. In any
case, additional sampling of the existing water system will be
required.
If you have any questions regarding this matter please contact Eric
Trevena at (209) 468-0333.
