11 <br />TANK MONITORING <br />The Underground storage tanks are monitored using an approved <br />continuous electronic monitoring system (see below). This system is <br />able to detect the presence of a leak in the primary as well as <br />secondary containment through the use of an annular space and <br />submerged sensor. <br />MONITORING SYSTEM <br />INTERSTITIAL MONITOR VAPOR X LIQUID NONE <br />(IF NONE - FOLLOW PROCEDURES FOR SINGLE WALL TANK MONITORING) <br />EQUIPMENT AT THIS FACILITY:CEI 3000 <br />MAINTENANCE CONTRACTOR: CHEVRON CENTRAL MAINTENANCE <br />Visual monitoring of the tank monitor alarm box is performed daily by the <br />dealer or a designated employee. Please see the attached site map for <br />the location of all equipment and forms for keeping monitoring records at <br />the site. <br />The electronic monitoring devices are maintained according to <br />manufacturer's recommendations. <br />The dealer will also perform inventory reconciliation according to the <br />procedure outlined in the Inventory reconciliation section of this plan. <br />Training will be given which includes information regarding: how to self <br />test the electronic monitoring equipment, what the equipment monitors, <br />how to tell when the alarm goes off, how to perform inventory <br />reconciliation, record keeping requirements and procedures to follow in <br />the event of alarm activation, leak, suspected leak, or other emergency. <br />RESPONSIBLE PERSONNEL <br />TITLE <br />Keith Geist Dealer 209-333-1740 <br />Chevron Central Maintenance Dispatch 1-800-423-3528: 24 hour emergency <br />number <br />See also 11Chevron Leak Response Plan" <br />2 <br />
