CO StationLink
@
StationLink Hosl
The StationLinIJ Host is a PC-based system designed by Control Engineers (CEI) to
provide centralized communications to one or more CEI Series 3000 remote units.
StationLink 4,•- a ollowing major functions:
Dial -Up Communications
The Stationl_inly uses its internal Hayes modem to communicate to multiple Series
3000 units. On a daily b.sis, StationLinko will automatically poll any or all of the
remote sites for inventory, delivery, and alarm data. The user can also retrieve an
immediate snapshot of inventory, delivery, and alarm data at any site.
The StationLinko protocol implements CRC -1 6 error checking and allows for organized
data transfer. The StationLink'o maintains phone diagnostics for all remote units, to
assist the user with maintaining the dial-up network.
Data Storage
There
o
are three data types stored •by StationLink: Inventory, Delivery, and Alarm
data. Inventory consists of tank capacity, gross inventory, ullage, water level, and
product temperature for each product. The delivery information consists of the
beginning date of delivery, the beginning time of delivery, and the product and water
levels before and after delivery.
Alarm data consists of the date, time, product, and description of the alarm condition
that has occurred at the CEI 3000. The date and time that the alarm cleared is also
recorded. The potential alarm conditions are:
• High Product Level
Low Product Level
High Water Level
Fuel Loss (Theft)
Level Gauge Fail
Tank Leak Test Fail
• 3 GPH Line Test Fail
Precision Line Test Fail
Turbine Failure
The Series 3000 can collect data from a wide variety of external sensors, such as
sump probes, annular space probes, water wells, vapor wells, etc. StationLink' will
•
