Prior to delivery of fuel, a visual monitoring of the liquid level
of the tank will be performed which will include noting the amount
of gallons and percent fill using the digital display guage located
near the central monitoring panel. In addition, the fill level
of the tank will be measured using a dip stick to calculate the
amount of gallons in the tank. .both readings will be compared to
determine amount of product required.
2. The tank will have an available capacity of 103% of the load to
be dropped, or the total load plus 200 gallon capacity whichever
is less, as determined by storage tank visual monitoring. in
addition, charts are located in the emergency power room which
indicate how much product can be delivered safely into the tank
based on the liquid level measured by the dip stick.
3. Metered Input -- If the load to be delivered is 2000 gallons or less,
it will be run through a meter as it is being dropped into the
underground storage tank. In addition the digital fuel guage will
be monitored. If the load is more than 2000 gallons, it shall be
monitored offsite at a batch plant. The product shall run through
a meter when loaded into the truck.
