2.2.4 Fitting Assembly <br />All containment fittings consist of two halves with flanges <br />as shown in Fig. 2.2.3. The bottom half has threaded in- <br />serts for ease of assembly. <br />TABLE 2.3.1 Containment Crossover Information <br />These fittings are assembled with adhesive and %-20 wash- <br />er -head bolts that are furnished with the fittings. The re- <br />quired bolts are supplied in small plastic bags. If extra <br />bolts are required, they can be purchased from your dis- <br />tributor. Or, you can use standard X-20 x 1" long hex <br />head bolts. If you use standard bolts, place a flat washer <br />on the bolt before torquing. <br />The bonding surfaces of the containment fittings are sup- <br />plied from the factory pre -sanded.
