Curved and Flat Alkhead Installation
Step One
Curved and Flat
sumer"°` Choose the center pointfor the entry and drill a hole using a 6"hole saw
°''• for the 5" bulkhead fitting, and a 3-1/2' hole saw for a 3" bulkhead
fitting. After the hole is cut, file the edge to insure there are no burrs or
excess pastic. Note: If drilling into a fiberglass sump, use carbide-tip
hole saws.
s °
S,,k,..d Step Two (Enviroflex only-3950 series)
s"tt°„°` Curved and Flat
Insertthe stiffener into thecorrugated secondary pipewhere applicable.
Se d—Y Pipe
SS Clemp Step Three
Curved
Remove the compression nut and the curved washer from the fitting.
For added protection, prior to inserting the bulkhead, run a bead of
Bostik 920 FS or equivalent around the outside sealing surface.
