Age •
"THE FIRST LEAK DETECTOR TO MAK
A COMPLETE LINE TEST IN
APPROXIMATELY TWO SECONDS!
As early as 1959, Red Jacket devel-
oped and marketed a solution to
the problem of leakage between
storage tanks and dispensers of
petroleum. With the growth in pop-
ularity of self -serve operations,
pumping delay can be a problem.
Red Jacket responds with a dia-
phragm leak detector that makes a
complete line test in approximately
two seconds.
This reliable Red Jacket leak de-
tector is the result of years of re-
search and field experience. The
diaphragm leak detector can be
easily mounted in the top of any
current 4" Red Jacket Submersible
Pump or adapts to older or other
submersible pumps. UL listed
when used with an approved hous-
ing.
The standard unit is designed
for use with 1/3, 3/a and 1'/2 HP
pumps with flows up to 70 GPM.
RED JACKET MEETS THE DEMANDS OF
PETROLEUM MARKETERS AND
SERVICE STATION OPERATORS,
Following are characteristics of
the Red Jacket system which you
demanded:
1. After completion of the stan-
dard test, the Red Jacket leak
signal is indicated only when a
true leak is present, not just a
pressure drop resulting from
system resilience or thermal
contraction.
2. The leak signal does not com-
pletely shut down operation of
the system.
y
3. The signal will affect normal op-
erations sufficiently to call for
early investigation and remedial
action.
4. Minor leaks are indicated, how-
ever, no service interruption oc-
curs.
5. A Leak Detector can be installed
in any position and is not sensi-
tive to vibration.
6. The hexagonal shape makes
this Diaphragm Leak Detector
easy to identify.
