When used in the interstitial area, it is
installed through a 2 -inch riser pipe. Figures 7-1 and 7-2 show the
requirements for installation in sumps and steel tanks respectively.
In addition, items or steps necessary for the installation in the
interstitial space of steel tanks will be denoted by an asterisk
TSP-ULS Sensor
The TSP-ULS Standard sensor uses magnetic floattreed switch
technology. The magnetic float/reed switch is assembled for a
normally closed circuit when no liquid is present. When a liquid is
present, the magnetic float will rise, and after traveling 3/4 of an inch,
it will magnetically cause the reed switch to open.
NOTE
In all cases, an open (standard sensor) output is recognized as
an alarm condition by the TS-1000EF/ console.
