Other Riser Caps are available for different riser <br />pipe sizes - Consult with your local distributor or INCON. <br />CAUTION Damp or wet <br />junction boxes will cause <br />corrosion of the wire splices <br />and will increase electrical <br />resistance, which will <br />eventually cause sensor <br />failure. In addition, if water <br />enters a weatherproof <br />junction box it will cause a <br />short circuit sensor failure <br />and possible system <br />damage. Prevent this by <br />waterproofing the sensor <br />b) TSP -KW Seal Pak (splice connector epoxy seal kit) - <br />Optiona/ but STRONGLY RECOMMENDED for sites: <br />within flood zones, with high groundwater tables, with <br />poor drainage, within dampiwet locations. <br />c) * Riser pipe - 2 inch diameter (OD), threaded at one end <br />(NPT -14) and rough edges removed from the inner edge <br />at the other (non -threaded) end. <br />d) Cable Compression Fitting { supplied with the sensor ). <br />e) Weatherproof Junction Box (See TS-1000EF1 INSTALLATION <br />GUIDE for Recommended Junction Boxes). <br />f) Rigid (threaded) metallic conduit - per codes, 112 or 3i4 inch <br />NPT, length - as required. <br />splice connectors with epoxy <br />Seal Paks. g) EYS Seal fitting(s) - as required per codes. <br />h) TFFN o #8 AWs ength - as require <br />Colors: White, and Black. <br />i) Crimping tool (5 crimp type wire splices 18-22 Gauge are <br />supplied with each sensor). <br />j) Thread sealant or pipe dope - as required. <br />k) TSP-ULS Standard Sensor. <br />Page 2 TSP-ULS Installation Instructions <br />I <br />0 <br />
