(7- <br /> Eleven) to document the soil sample results obtained during the fuel line and underground storage <br /> tank (LIST) upgrade activities conducted at 7-Eleven store number 32262, located at 2360 West <br /> Grant Line Road, Tracy, California (Figures 1 and 2). This work was conducted in accordance with <br /> the requirements of the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (SJCEHD). Glacier <br /> Environmental Services, Inc. (Glacier) was subcontracted by 7-Eleven to complete the fuel system <br /> upgrade activities. <br /> INTRODUCTION <br /> The purpose of SECOR's project involvement was to collect soil samples to assess subsurface <br /> conditions beneath the former product piping lines, dispenser islands, and USTs. Specifically, <br /> SECOR's scope of work consisted of the following tasks: <br /> 0 Preparation of a site-specific Health and Safety Plan; <br /> 0 Collection of soil and water samples beneath the dispenser islands and LISTS at the <br /> direction of the SJCEHD specialist; <br /> 0 Submittal of samples for laboratory analysis; <br /> 0 Off-site disposal of soil and groundwater; and <br /> 0 Preparation of this report documenting the fuel line and LIST upgrade activities, and the <br /> results of subsurface assessment activities. <br /> SITE BACKGROUND <br /> In 1997, Fluor Daniel GTI conducted a Phase I assessment at the site. On August 5, 1997, a Phase <br /> 11 subsurface investigation was performed. No detectable concentrations of petroleum <br /> hydrocarbons, polynuclear aromatic hydrocarbons, or pesticides were found on-site. A Phase I <br /> addendum was submitted by IT Corporation on September 27, 1999. A table and figure from this <br /> previous investigation is included in Attachment A.
