Tracy Blvd., Tracy, CA <br /> The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD) has completed the review of <br /> the application for a• permit to install new S Bravo retrofit penetrations (F-07-Retrofit-S, F-10- <br /> Retrofit-S , and F-30-Retrofit-S) on the 87-octane STP and 91-octane STP & Fill sumps and to <br /> replace the manway lids with the Fibrelite FLA 00 lids, and install spill containers and drop tubes <br /> on the underground storage tank (UST) system at the above noted address. The permit has <br /> been approved with the following conditions: <br /> 1. Contact the local fire department and the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control <br /> District for any applicable permits and requirements. <br /> 2. Any changes in information and scope of work must be submitted to EHD for approval <br /> prior to commencing work. All new addenda supersede the previous ones. <br /> 3. Contact Thuy Tran at (209) 468-8257 to arrange the following inspection appointments <br /> (a 48-hour notice is required for inspection appointments). Please be aware that <br /> inspections for emergency work must be scheduled within five days of permit approval. <br /> a. Secondary piping soap test: One hour pressure test per manufacturer's <br /> guidelines. If there are no manufacturer's guidelines, test shall be performed <br /> using an applicable method specified in an industry code or engineering <br /> standard. <br /> b. Since concrete will be broken near the tanks, a secondary containment test must <br /> be performed on the affected USTs once concrete is poured in accordance with <br /> the manufacturer's guidelines. <br /> c. 24-hour hydrostatic test (or equivalent) on impacted STP sumps. <br /> d. Spill container test: Verify 5-gallon capacity and one hour hydrostatic test (or <br /> equivalent). Proper drainage must also be verified. <br /> e. Overfill prevention: Verify that the mechanical shut off valve is set to 95% of the <br /> tank capacity. <br /> Please be aware that the facility cannot operate the UST system prior to the EHD <br /> inspection and approval. <br />
